Special thank you to Ruby Botello for reminding me of this movie.
This is not my all time favorite football movie, but it is a GREAT one. If you have not seen it, I do suggest renting it before football season.
As I was telling Ruby, I am probably going to get struck by lightening for this, but the only time I watched it, I laughed through the entire thing. NOT that I thought any part of it was funny and I certainly wasn't trying to make fun of it because truth be told, the football parts are pretty realistic ( i just can't see the entire school out on the lawn praying during the day, although if I ever did- that would be the coolest thing to EVER witness). I laughed because of the acting, which is TOTALLY unfair on my end- I think it was because I had watched Remember the Titans not an hour before popping in Facing the Giants and the differences in the two, just made me laugh. I like really fire it up type movies and although Facing the Giants is a fire it up movie, it is in a different way.
However, I decided to re-watch it and give it a 2nd try!
But never the less, I am adding this clip to my blog. Its really good and its very inspiring.
